The location keeps changing, which makes this different from meeting-room work. Conversation continues in transit, during equipment walk-throughs on the factory floor and over meals, so an escort interpreter who moves with the whole schedule is the right fit.
How working hours are counted
Six hours a day is the standard, and travel time, waiting time and meals taken together all count as working hours. Beyond that, time is billed in 30-minute units. Local transport within the city is included in the rate; if the schedule moves to another region or requires an overnight stay, only those actual costs are settled separately.
